First novel by Jacek Dukaj (Aguerre at Dawn, Extensa and Perfect Imperfection), where the main element of the World is the society of post humans – individuals to whom the technological progress had allowed to achieve powers / possibilities / skills inaccessible to the old good Homo sapiens. In each of those novels the Author introduces a different way of co-existence among (or beside) those, who did not cross the border of transformation. Aguerre at Dawn covers a turbulent history of the OHX convent (Ordo Homo Xenogenesis), in which all the Gliacs had been amassed for the safety reasons.
